We also publicly kicked off our philanthropic campaign at this event by celebrating GCI’s $500,000 commitment to supporting the Alaska Esports Center at ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÉÏͶעapp. Additional contributors to the Alaska Esports Center include the UAF Alumni Association, ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÉÏͶעapp College of Business and Security Management, ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÉÏͶעapp eCampus and ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÉÏͶעapp chancellor.

The Alaska Esports Center is home to the first esports program of its kind in Alaska and the UAF Alaska esports team. At ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÉÏͶעapp, we are modernizing the student experience by providing a state-of-the-art esports facility accompanied by a student-focused and learning-driven co-curricular program. With a focus on diversity and inclusion, the Alaska esports program will provide opportunities for ÁùºÏ²ÊÍøÉÏͶעapp students to engage in collaboration, cooperation and competition.
